...... any of you gentlemen install a Triggertec trigger on your Excals yourself?

Yep. Put one in a Excal Vortex. Hardest part was breaking the bolts without stripping the heads. Excal loves to use Loc-Tite!

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

I put one on my Matrix 405. It's a pretty simple job. Their website has a good video that explains everything. They are very good triggers.

I'll second what DPMS said. Get a set of quality allen wrenches. I like Pine Ridge brand as they will never strip out. Craftsman just won't do the job anymore.

Heat it with a good solder gun, locktite and heat don't play well together. I then replaced the aluminum screws with stainless
