Kentucky Hunt Video

I added the video footage to my "Back from Kentucky" thread, but I can't edit the post's subject to say "Video added)", so here's the link to the footage.

Sorry to clutter the forum with an additional post. Some day I'll get my act together.

Incredible footage! I enjoyed watching the "old man" and that young buck interact! Just great stuff and I really enjoyed watching the whole thing! Congrats again on that buck!

Re: Kentucky Hunt Video

Ng, that was an awesome video, i like the last two seconds of it the best with the look skyward...

Man that was 10 years worth of sightings for most...how many days were you down there??

Great stuff.

Re: Kentucky Hunt Video

I hunted 3 1/2 days, but the video only shows the highlights from the two middle days. The first day I saw about 18, but many of those were in the morning before I could get the camera arm set up on the tree. The last 1/2 day was a rare day for that place in that I saw "only" two deer, but one of those was a good buck as well. On 11/6, the day I took both deer, I was about to lose track, but I believe I had 43 sightings, not counting repeats by bucks (of which I saw 10); and that from a stand in the woods/thickets, not an open field, "see for miles" scenario. The place is pretty incredible when it comes to sheer numbers of deer.

eyes, watching that old fellow go about his business was definitely one of the highlights of my trip.

Here are a couple of trail camera shots of my buck.
