Horton Legend Ultra Lite

Horton will have two bows for 2015. The Storm RDX and the Legend Ultra Lite. This is the Legend Ultra Lite.

Re: Horton Legend Ultra Lite

If this is anything like the Horton TRT Ultra Light I have for my son.......its going to be a great xbow.

Good to see the name back in the game...

Take a kid hunting, it's the future of our sport and the future is now!

As nice as your bow is, I suspect this will be better. Much better components all the way around,

Re: Horton Legend Ultra Lite

This crossbow is the best offering in the 330 f.p.s. speed range hands down. Adjustable cheek piece and buttplate, so that it fits nearly everyone. The wing below the barrel extends to the trigger to keep fingers out of harms way. A new trigger that breaks very clean. Arrow retention is handled with the brush system and it's silent at the shot, self centers the arrow and grips the arrow so that it won't slide forward while carrying the bow. At 175 lbs. it's very easy to cock as well, my girlfriend cocked it with ease. She was unable to cock the Storm RDX at 165 lbs. This bow registered a 78 on my sound meter, so it's also very quiet. The bow handles and balances well. Overall it's a lot of bow packed with features that matter.

Edit: Michelle has informed me she will be hunting with this crossbow this season, when she carries a crossbow. (being from W.Va., she still hunts with a compound on occasion) She says she never really felt safe with a crossbow until now.
