I personally like Parker, their customer service is excellent. They are made in Virginia.

Harvesting imature game removes future trophies. Patience is rewarded.

My vote is Parker . . . my taxidermist would agree

There is no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people asking questions.

Re: Best Bang for the Buck XBow?

Ya didn't mention what your $$ range is. Bang for the buck is relative.

Less than $500, Parker Enforcer. Next step up will be in the $650-800 range. Look at the Parker Tornado or Excalibur Vortex/Exocet.

Much like other bows, alot of it comes down to shooting them and feeling them in your hands.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Taking all that you want into consideration, the Parker Tornado is nearly a perfect fit. It is quiet for a crossbow, but you will need to add string stoppers. It comes in at around 340 f.p.s. and it is light enough to carry a long distance.

There is a new bow that might fit as well. Parkers new for 2011, Hornet Extreme. It is subject to final development, so I don't have all the details on it yet.

I have and excalibur and a buddy has a Parker... The excalibur is great but if i had to do it again i would get the parker... only reason is it is more compact and i hunt from tree stand most...
