No hunting this weekend.

After just 9 shots the limbs are coming apart for the third time on my parker tomahawk. 3 front ends and still having problems with this thing. Never again.

Yea, those bows can have their issues. Sorry to hear that.

A work acquaintance was telling me horror stories of his Parker crossbow (not sure if it was the Tomhawk though) having several issues, including suffering a limb failure during hunting season. It would seem a company such as Parker would do well with crossbows, considering their success with compound bows.

Re: No hunting this weekend.

Seems to only be certain models with problems. Many like the Enforcer, Hornet, and Tornado have been pretty darn reliable.

Re: No hunting this weekend.

I have the Parker Tornado F4. Haven't had any issues with mine. This be the 2nd season I been using this X-bow. The only beef I have is its heavy. It is a outstanding accurate x-bow. Whats funny is shooting it off hand you don't notice its heavy, its well balanced. Carrying it while stalking? Well you do notice and sitting in the stand holding it.
