Anyone shorten their crossbow?

I've got an old Horton Summit 150 that isn't fancy but kills a lot of deer. I've often contemplated cutting the stock off so only the pistol grip remains. I want the agility the modification would seem to give me since I often stalk with the bow. This seems like it's feasible, but I wanted to get some other perspectives since it's a irreversible modification. Anyone do it?

I think I'd pass on that project. I would think the balance of the bow would be terrible. I'd sell it and get one of the new Excalibur Xbows. They're going to be short and sweet.

I'm so far behind I think I'm in first place.

I wanted to get a pistol, but couldn't find one with the required draw weight. My Barnett Vengeance is short. I just bought it last month and hope to get one with it this year.

Hunting hobby ended, now I'm a fly fisherman!
