Stryker 380 XBow

I traded with one of our members today a Excaliber eclipse for a Bow Tec STRYKER 380. Both bows shoot nice but I think the Stryker ,for me, shoots nicer plus it fits in my box blind much better. Does anyone have one and could you tell me what Bolts and Grain tips your shooting. He gave me 20" bolts with it, I had some Carbon Express 22" with 100 grain field points that I shot out of it and they seem to shot better than the 20". So what do you's shoot and what Broadheads. Thanks

Re: Stryker 380 XBow

I have the 350 not the 380, but mine likes the 20" victories and 100 grain rage. Watch your limbs as the stryker had known limb issues especially the 380's.

SZ 380
20" Accuspine with Luminok
125 gr NAP Spitfire

I did upgrade my scope this year to a Hawk XB-30 Pro SR (illuminated), wasn't happy with the stock one in low-light conditions.

Re: Stryker 380 XBow

Thanks for the come backs. The Stryker 380 I got has NEW limbs and axles and cams an cables on it. It was sent back and redone an never shot after the guy got it back. I've been shooting a lot today with it an trying differant things. I've shot 22" bolts with 100 gr tips and I shot 20" bolts with 125 gr. tips making sure everything I shoot is around or over 400 gr I read a report from Bowtech to never shoot anything under 388 gr. Well it didn't matter which combo I shot they all shot great. Today I got my first deer of the season at 61 yards a good heart shot, OF COURSE IT WAS A GlenDel BUCK but it looked real. I really like this Xbow.

Alrighty then, try to keep it under 35 yards, anything above that and you're risking wounding an animal and not being able to recover it.

Re: Stryker 380 XBow

I bought my son a stryker 380 for Christmas. He's just using the bolts that came with it.I was concerned about the limb issue but so far he has over 300 shots out of it and it seems fine.I put some slick tricks on and it shoots right with the field points.
