New stand is out

Been hunting area and have seen a ton of Doe. Seen a couple of 2.5 year old 8 points and a 3.5 old 8 point. I don't like putting a stand up this late but figured I have a week to let it cool down. It is am awesome set up and I am in a bottle neck with ton of sign and deer traffic. Counting on the bucks to be comin through lookin for Doe. Hope to see one of the nice bucks in area. Can't wait till next week.

Re: New stand is out

Me too. I am drawing a blank this year on antlers. Have been seeing alot of doe. Decided to rest my stands for a week and hit them again later this coming week in the hopes that the bucks will be actively looking for the ladies.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Re: New stand is out

I have yet to see a deer this season. I've been out a few times and nothing. Some of the problem is the stands I hunt. I don't expect to see does on the stands I'm hunting, but it would be nice to see a few does now and then. I suspect if I do see a deer, it would be a good one.

I'll be switching it up next week and hunting the doe spots. The bucks will come. The cold that is coming later this week should prove to be good too. Good Luck everyone!
