Re: Portable Ground Blinds

Spend the extra $ and get the double bull. There are no cons... In my mind, it's the only true "portable" blind. Super fast set up and take down, black interior, 8 stake points, no windflap, adjustable windows. You won't regret it. I own 3, one of each camo pattern printed. Two matix's and one DarkHorse. The DarkHorse is a bowhunter's dream blind.

Re: Portable Ground Blinds

I just picked up an Ameristep Brickhouse Blind at Cabelas the other day. On Sale till the end of the month for 99 Bucks.
Hunted with it last night...2 Minutes to set up and I can
have it packed up and in the carry bag in 1 minute. It has
10 windows with shoot thru mesh and Black Interior. Pretty
good blind for the money.

Re: Portable Ground Blinds

How do deer react to them? Since I hunt sgl's or sp's, I can't leave the blind set up.

Re: Portable Ground Blinds

IF you need to set it up on the fly I would reccomend tucking it into a thicket to help break up the outline and make sure you leave the rear windows closed
My daughter an I got busted by a nice 8pt fri night cause I had the one rear window craked half way and he had to have picked off our motion.
He woul dhave been her first at 9yrs old and I feel heart broken since it was my mistake that she had to learn a lesson.... I set up my blind 20 yrds off of trail and had a trail cam 10 yrds away. I had 300 pics in a week so I think they didn't mind it too much

Re: Portable Ground Blinds

No need to spend alot of $$$ on a blind. I bought one of these from Sportmans guide for $71.97 after reading all the great reviews and it is perfect. Sets up in a minute. I liked it so much I bought a second one a week later.
Here is the link.
