new crossbow hunter

i just sold my bowtech guardian and bought a six point defender cls. what a machine. sunday i am going to shoot it a bunch with my 100 gr 3 blade fixed thunderheads. i am already more accurate with this than i was with my bow after 2 1/2 years. to al the people who told me if i bought a cross bow i would be cheating , sppppllllllllllllttttt. i am going to harvest a deer tuesday with my crossbow and it will eat the same.

I like the attitude. You still have to be in the woods to shoot a cross bow, and that is the point isn it? Best of luck to you

To my fellow hunter miles away.... I know what you feel, I've been considered disabled by SS for almost 6 yrs. In N.C. disabled hunters only were able to hunt with crossbow, although I was labled disabled I could still do pretty much what I please and have always liked to keep that image I guess for pride or as my wife says I'm just "hardheaded" whatever the reason finially heres my comment. I've been using a Bear Whitetail II my mom purchased for over 30 yrs ago in Sharon Pa. and I wouldn't sell it for a million! I always felt that if I shot a deer with a crossbow it wouldn't count if you know what I mean, but now it was time to update, crossbow is now legal so now that we're playing by the same rules why buy another compound. I'm going forward not back to chunking spears, just give it time!
