Took the last week of archery off, there were 6 of us in camp. We saw 28 bucks and plenty of doe between us. I guess you should find a new area.

If you were in the woods for 36 days of archery and saw 6 deer, I would suggest doing the exact opposite of what it is you are doing. Not being smart, that's just the way I see it!

The answer is find another place to hunt if you are not seeing deer where you are hunting now.

....it's not that the public land hardly has any deer. Take a drive in the summer and look at all the deer, it's the fact that most public land in 5 C is relatively small and as a result, pressure easily forced the deer off to find sanctuary elsewhere.

I am going to try another state. Too old to wait for things to improve. Don't need to harvest a deer, just would like to see more than 2 per year. Non-res license and travel are cost prohibitive (cost $500 per deer) My support of the Deer program is fading. Reference new forest study after 10+ years of the program somebody doesn't know what they have done or what they are doing ! Surprise, Surprise, Surprise !!!!! No offence John S! In which category do you fit?

Don't remember any catagories here. If you are asking if I am satisfied with the deer program, the answer is yes.

Re: cant have bigger if there are no doe to have fawns

I to was saddened when the kill all the deer program began. I hunted pa less and other states more expanding my horizons and seeing that not every state hates the whitetail.
There are states you can go to within 3 hr ride of where your at and you can see 10-15 deer a day.
Stop buying a license here, save your money and go out of state. You will never regret it
