Pa. Outdoor News article

Great commentary from John Eveland in response to PGC. He has documentaion (read FACTS ) from DCNR that tie the HR plan directly to the Green Certification Program for the sale of DCNR's lumber. He also states that a Scot Williamson was named to a group in 1998 started by the PGC to legitimize the deer reduction program. In Jan. 2000 he wrote a report for the group. I believe (FACT) it is the same Scot Williamson who was hired by Rep. David Levdansky to conduct the audit of the PGC's deer reduction plan. Now that's real justice. The man who helped write the plan is hired to audit it. To quote Mr. Eveland's article," This action is likely a violation of state law, and nullifies any credibility of the audit."

Should I start the popcorn this early in the morning, or has this topic been pounded far enough into the ground that it's not only dead but buried.

The way that you wander is the way that you choose,
The day that you tarry is the day that you lose.
Sunshine or thunder, a man will always wonder.
Where the fair wind blows.

start the popcorn, I'll get the sodas----always fun to watch the faithful get all flustered when something negative is posted about the PGC

Re: Pa. Outdoor News article

There are no documented facts Eveland has been discredited but he will continue to spew his crap and certain people will continue to believe him or use his lies to further their cause, kinda like this thread. This is particularly funny: "To quote Mr. Eveland's article," This action is likely a violation of state law, and nullifies any credibility of the audit." Keep quoting Eveland from articles in the USP rag, it is entertaining.

Re: Pa. Outdoor News article

Just because the guy says something doesn't make it fact. Some guys are just so frustrated by not finding some kind of smoking gun that they'll grasp onto any sliver of hope. The 1998 group is old news to sportsmen who pay attention to what's actually going on. Funny how some overlook that uncle Charlie from their beloved usp was part of that group as well.
But since you want to legitimize far reaching associative links between people from decades ago, here's one using the same logic. Turkeykiller gave some folks at the PGC money to hunt bear when Gary Alt was running that program. Who in turn took over the deer program and slaughtered every last deer in Pa., and all the while Turkeykiller was still funding them. So Turkeykiller was directly related to there being no more deer.
Now that can all be documented... oh wait, it just was.

Every action has a re-action! 4D

Re: Pa. Outdoor News article

Johns , are you saying the DCNR documents do not exist? Are you saying Mr. Williamson did not participate in both the the writing of HR plan and the audit of it later?

Shooter, are you also denying these facts? The 1998 plan is not old news. It was at the center of the HR reduction plan. You guys try to dismiss anything contrary to what you believe.

Ah yes, so few straws to grasp for. People desperate to prove a non existent conspiracy exists will look to any nonsense to prove their point no matter how ludacris the premise, of course that is the MO of the USP and their few supporters. Here is a newsflash, this isn't news, it was out in the open a long time ago and discussed and shown to have no substance, Eveland is just regurgitating the same old nonsense he has puked up in the past. You would do better to actually open your mind to the truth than to follow the example of a third rate biologist with an axe to grind because the PGC didn't use him for the study. Anyone who cannot see Eveland's motives has three layers of duct tape over their eyes.

mmmmmmm... I don't know John. I wouldn't call it a USP rag, unless you know somethiong I don't, which could very well be. Mulhollem presents differing sides, even in his editorials, and I really don't pick up on a slant one way or the other, but who knows. Honestly, I think it's one of the more rounded, and informative publications we have for PA. There just aren't that many to choose from anymore.
