DMA 1 - no CWD

Anyone have any idea why DMA1 still exists since its been 3 years since a deer was found with CWD in a pen, and never in the wild in that area ever?

And also where is the logic for the 6 deer they found last year for DMA2,they issue 13500 extra tags. So couple sick deer, you can't slaughter your way around it in my opinion. Is that the response in other states?

Re: DMA 1 - no CWD

Killing as many deer as possible is the only method to keep CWD from spreading. During the outbreak in WI ( the outbreak that caused CWD to gain national attention) their goal was to kill every living deer in that area and surrounding areas.

PETA hates me, but I'm okay with that......

Re: DMA 1 - no CWD

Yeah, I think it's a questionable response.

As to why dma1 is still existing sounds like crickets. I guess it's so our CWD task force or whatever it's called can have something to do.
