Re: Who is retireing from there,,,,,,,,,,,,

Every time I try and go they suck me back in.
Wanted to go at 50..kids collage and weddings changed that, then moved to 58 stockmarket changed then was going this June but got hosed into hanging in till 66 1/2 but that's it. They have 4 and a half years to train another donkey.

My ability to remember lyrics from songs of the 60's far exceed my ability to remember why I walked into the kitchen

Retired last year at the ripe old age of 46. Getting kind of bored, might look to get back into the work force if the conditions are right.

I hope to retire within the next five years. I'm 55 this June and want some time before I check out to hunt and fish on a daily basis. I seem to be at that time in life when the catching fish and shooting game part doesn't matter as much as just being out there.

I agree. 62 is the max I will go and just take the lower SS payments. 67 1/2 is ridiculous!! You only live once

Military? Not many jobs one can retire at 46 from. Usually military or PAT bus driver in Pittsburgh, maybe a Pittsburgh fireman or police but even that is a little early. Congrats, you are one lucky fella
