Thought For The Day

Quote:
When we are in the supermarket and someone rams our ankle with a shopping cart then apologizes for doing so, why do we say 'It's all right'? It isn't all right, so why don't we say, 'That hurt, you stupid idiot?'

Itís funny until somebody gets hurt, then itís hilarious

Re: Thought For The Day

I wouldn't say its all right, especially if it was my left foot.

There is no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people asking questions.

Re: Thought For The Day

because we don't want some little old lady to take her purse and beat us severely about the head and shoulders and render us helplessly to the turf

For those who fought for it, Life has a flavor the protected will never know.

Re: Thought For The Day

The appropriate thing to do is fall over, grab the ankle and start screaming for a lawyer....

I't a great way to meet women. Accidently bump them with your cart, appoligize profusely and gentlemanly, turn on the charm and, Bob's-your-uncle, you have broken the ice.

Good night Chesty, wherever you are......

That right there is why I wear goalie pads EVERY TIME I go grocery shopping! I dont mind sweating a bit in the name of lower leg safety!
