Sad times

Went to walmart to get groceries for dinner really fast right after work. It took me 20 minutes to find tomatoes, onions, and green peppers that were from the USA.

SAD. I am trying to buy soley from mom and pop stores but they would have been closed on my way home. I am also trying to only "Buy american"

Worst thing i saw was a vietnam war veterans hat. Flipped over the hat and it was made in Viet Nam... Really?

Not to sound like a wise donkey, but there's a bunch of Viet Nam war vets in Viet Nam, too. Just sayin'.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Re: Sad times

Funny how things never change, about 140 years ago people in southern US probably didn't want to buy anything made in northern US and vice versa

They didn't have any choice, everything was made in the north! Pretty soon everything will be made in China.

Re: Sad times

I really haven't been impressed with Walmart's produce at all and haven't bought produce there in a long time. Most comes from the garden on the side of the house during this time of year.

Re: Sad times

Just my opinion (of course), but if you are truly trying to support AMERICA - why are you shopping WALLY-WORLD at all?

Re: Sad times

It's very unlikely that much of Walmarts produce comes from China.
