Ground Bees

Need some help with a hive, GIE. When can I expect you over?

I was given some magic bee killing powder. It has a long nozzle to put in the tunnel entrance then you squeeze the bottle. But when I did it last night, I didn't tip the bottle over to get the powder into the lauch position before I squeezed it. I shot more air than powder into the hive. Ground bees don't like air shot into their hive

I checked this morning and there are still bees coming and going as if nothing happened. Looks like I have to try it again tonight.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Re: Ground Bees

Are they yellow jackets or bees? I just wiped out a nest of yellow jackets in an underground nest yesterday at my club at the tatget frames on our range. I dumped an entire bottle of liquid Sevin down the hole. There was not a yellow jacket in sight an hour later.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Re: Ground Bees

I think they are yellow jackets but they seem smaller than you'd expect a yellow jacket to be. This powder I have is probably similar to Seven but like I said, I forgot to tip the bottle over to get the powder into the nozzle area and shot more air into the hole than powder. They weren't amused.

Re: Ground Bees

Just man up and go over and stomp on them until their all dead or surrendering! Real men don't need sprays and powders. Get GIE to help.

Also in bare feet! Then when your done,See your family Doctor. Just don't buy the junk from Value Home Center,Called Spectricide! All that does is tick them off. Raid One Shot works pretty good. A can of spray brake cleaner drops them dead!
