Took a road trip to Texas the past two weeks and drove through all the southern states down and up. average price down south was 3.15 - 3.25. obviously the cost of transport keeps it lower down there. but is no excuse for the price gouging and extreme profits these companies are pulling in lately
I noticed the price went up 14 cents a gallon today. Crude oil must have increased 50 cents a barrel.
With the election coming up I think the politicians will probably do whatever they can to keep it down somewhat until the elections over. Thats my own little conspiracy theory and will probably be rebuked, but it just always seems gas prices are down somewhat before an election.
