Last day of vacation

Today is the last day of my vacation. Should I cut the grass or sit around and drink beer all day? Here are some relevant facts before you give me your well thought out opinion:
1. The wife is home. Sooner or later, she'll notice that I'm doing nothing.
2. It looks like rain but it isn't doing so now. If I could delay it long enough, I could get rained out of cutting grass.

What do I do?

Re: Last day of vacation

if you drink enough beer you can't mow grass ,rain or not. explain to her that you could get arrested for public drunkenness. i don't often miss an oppertunity to drink a beer, keep the cupholder occupied and treat it with a cold beer

if you bought it, a trucker brought it

The riding mower has a cup holder. I guess I should have mentioned that.

Then why are you asking stupid questions about which you should do?

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Re: Last day of vacation

I was looking to avoid mowing completely but I wasn't sure how I could sell the wife on that. She is retiling the bathroom floor, and I'm goofing off on here. Sooner or later she is gonna notice.

Re: Last day of vacation

Shut the bathroom door... just say'n.

Is your position a short term gain - or a long term loss? Separate the issues.

You have the opportunity to drink beer while sitting on a machine that is loud enough to drown out her nagging. It also means you'll be outside while she's inside. That's like a mini vacation all in its self. Seriously, what is wrong with you?
