Re: How to buy American!

Good to see, but IMHO they should have used Brownings plans for the double stack .45 Auto which was sold to Fabrique Nationale (FN) and became the Browning Hi-Power 9mm. It would have all the great capabilities of the 1911 and Hi-Power and sport a double satck 10 round .45 ACP magazine.

Had a friend who was an Army MP in Bosnia. Luckily he was wearing his body armor with an newer ceramic plate in the chest. He it took 12 out of 15 9mm rounds from his Beretta to drop a guy who was still able to fire a burst from his AK at him and luckliy only knock him back because he had his armor on.

Re: How to buy American!

Awsome news!! They should have never switched to the 9mm in the first place. Probably a political move rather than the right choice at the time. Colt .45 ACP, almost brings tears to my eyes

Re: How to buy American!

It was political. The US Military wanted to be more compatable or comply with NATO who like most European nations if not all of them us 9mm as the standard pistol ammo.
