Do you think James Holmes, the accused Aurora killer, is faking it?
I am not a doctor, but seeing enough of these type guys, I kinda got a feel for real insanity vs fakers, as well as the emotionally disturbed ones.
I think he's faking it, because -
*They said his college studies included psychiatry and behavioral sciences, so he knows a lot about this stuff.
*He's doing too many "crazy" things;
-When arrested they put paper bags on his hands to preserve gun powder residue evidence he used them like hand puppets.
-He now claims amnesia, and everything I've ever read says amnesia is extremely rare and usually the result of shock from fear and traumatic experiences or from head injuries.
-He was reported spitting at the guards in the county jail.
-His odd, distracted, distanced, and even bored behavior in court the other day.
-The account that a week before he was drinking at a local bar and seemed completely lucid.
*I have seen all of these behaviors at one time or another, but never from one person.
I remember one, "for real" insane person specifically, and as crazy as he is, he exhibited some of these things but never all of them.
Do you think he is faking it?
Well, sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes, well, he eats you, so the Dude must abide!
