Hey guys this winter was a bit slow for work and being that I was in an area close to where my uncle lived I decided to take up his offer and dive into a wood working project. I finally got a minute and figured I would show you how the first project turned out. Not only was the project fun but I got to become closer to my uncle who I really only get to see up in the ANF during rifle season. The bar took us roughly 3 months to finish and we were able to incorporate a couple things to personalize it. If you take a look, the door handles are the antlers from the first buck I ever harvested. Not only are these antlers special because they were from my first buck but I shared the hunt with my dad and my younger brother. Furthermore the drawer pulls are made from the brass of 12ga shells that I killed my last 2 spring birds with. I really enjoyed the wood working and think this is going to become a serious hobby in the future. I hope you all enjoy the pictures.
