Lancaster member help

In an earlier thread on member history in US I wrote from memory incorectly about my 1717 immigrant forefather buying 300 acres in Lancaster. I named the creek intersection wrong. The correct creeks are the Conestoga and the Cocalico very close to where the Zooks covered bridge is now. Problem is the maps don't name the creeks and I am having a hard time finding maps with creek names. Can anyone tell me the closest road intersections to these two creek junctions. I know the area is still all farms and the family sold that place and moved to New Holland where the 1727 farm/homestead is still owned by decendants.

Re: Lancaster member help

Not 100% sure, but it looks like Stoltzfus Ave and Zook's Ln. Zook's Mill bridge is supposed to be just upstream from the junction. The watershed map shows Cocalico Creek watershed stopping just South of 222, and I'm guessing Conastoga Creek runs through West Earl? Hope that's some help anyway.

Re: Lancaster member help,

not real good with these computers, but if you use Bing maps(enter Ephrata,Pa)Then zoom in on Brownstown and you can find the area described above. Creek names are there (conastoga n.e. of town, cocalico s.w. of town) You have a choice of maps (birds eye you'll see the cows)

Thanks I see on the Bing maps that they label waterways whereas others don't. You mentioned a watershed map. Is this available on line?
I think its cool my forefathers cleared thick woods for farms almost 300 years ago and its still being farmed today
