Simplicity Lawn Tractors??

Well, my ole 22 year ole Cub Cadet model 1320(12.5 HP OHV Kohler) 38" deck finally gave up the ghost.

After cking around decided to go with a Simplicity Regent EX 38" Lawn Tractor w/21 HP B&S Professional Series engine w/Dura-Bore Cast Iron Cylinder Sleeve.

Woulda bought anuther Cub but they are now mfg by MTD which I hear quality has gone down hill.

Curious if there are any Simplicity Owners out there & whut are your experiences??

Thanks!

Re: Simplicity Lawn Tractors??

I bot a Simplicity Regent about 4 years ago. I has the 38" cutting deck and a Kohler engine with the Hydro tranny. It's been a very dependable machine. I have an acre to cut with hills that require chains and I bag all my clippings.

So far I've replaced the battery once and I've had one deck bearing go out.

FWIW

SW

BTW....I would not buy any machine from a big box store.
