Speaking of grocery store incidents ...

I stopped by the grocery store yesterday to pick up bread, milk, couple of things for dinner ect in one of those small hand baskets. I had maybe 8 or 10 items.

Just as I get up to the cashier and set my basket down some woman runs up and throws the loaf of gread through the air onto the conveyor belt and says " Do you mind if I go first? I'm in a hurry!", and walks past me before I can even answer.

I said, "Whatever!" sarcastically, and begin to empty my basket.

She then argues with the cashier for the next five minutes over the price. I was fuming.

What the heck is wrong with people. She's in such a big hurry but wastes five minutes arguing over 59 cents???
Wanted to choke her to unconsciousness and pay for my food and then go.

Well, sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes, well, he eats you, so the Dude must abide!

Then there are those people that accidentally attempt to go out through the emergency exit, but realize it and go out the correct door. But not until after the blaring, high-pitched alarm has drawn everyones attention to said person who is now casually walking to his truck.

I had a co worker argue with a waitress over a $0.13 over charge on a bill. While standing there, I threw a quarter at my co worker and told him to keep the change.

I walked up to one of the checkouts at wallyworld and place a bike tire and innertube on the belt. The cashier scans the tube then picks up the tire and asks; "Do you want to buy this?". I said; No, but since I carried it all the way across the store I might as well.

I worked in grocery stores for 15 long years and no matter how bad you think people can be, I can assure you, they are worse than that.
