Lol I don’t catch deer. Can’t help but laugh every time I hear that one. I’ve been asked if I caught deer several times. I wonder what those people think we are doing when we go deer hunting. Probably think we set up Wile E. Kioti type traps in the woods.

My friends and family have got the message. Turned down being best man for a good friend to go hunting out of state....got a good deer in Indiana State. Skipped out on my hunting buddy's birthday party to go to Ohio archery hunting.....Got the second largest rack of my life. My granddaughter planned her wedding around my Spring gobbler hunting. My classmates moved up our class reunion in Indiana so I could get back to Ohio and PA in time for Spring turkey hunting. Delayed my honeymoon to take a nice buck.....explaining there is hunting season and there is mating season.....Lived in a tent to expedite building a new log home...delayed the move in to accept an offer to go elk hunting in MT.....

My mil asks me all the time if I caught anything. She is 91 so she can say it how she wants to.

My wife's favorite question is, "When will you be home?"

Hahaha, I always say, "In time for trout season!"
