Know the feeling?

I'll bet there are more than just a few of us that can make that claim.

Once upon a time I lived that life as I moved up the corporate ladder. Pretty glad I don't have to go through that anymore. I missed a good portion of my daughters life from 0-5 because I worked nearly 80 hours weeks for that period of time. I was also incredibly unhealthy because I never had time for myself. It's a shame some of us have to endure those times, but it made me the person I am today and I never forget what it took to get where I am now..

I’ve been there as well. I woke up one day and realized I don’t want to waste my life working 70-80 hours a week consistently to make money. I simplified a lot of areas of my life and cut out a lot of unnecessary “wants”. I still work 40 hours most weeks because I still have to live, but my days of sacrificing time with family and friends to work overtime are done. I dont make as much money, but I am much happier overall.

OT is a bear. Especially when you are making somebody else rich while they are enjoying their family, friends and hobbies!
