UPS messed up but TD bank still had the cash. The payee's name is on the draft and nobody else should be able to cash it. The problem was resolved between the bank and the payee. What else did they want from UPS?

Seriously, this is totally a bank-patron issue. All UPS did was lose a piece of paper. How in the world can this bank not place a stop/cancellation on the lost draft and simply issue a new one?

UPS said my new computer was delivered according to the tracking number to Johnson on the Dock two days ago. It was sent Signature required. I don't live on a dock and I "ain't" Johnson. This is going to be an adventure straightening this out.

In today's world, I do not understand why things were not done through a bank to bank wire transfer.

I sold my company over 3 years ago, and insisted it was a wire transfer......then I knew money was safe.

If someone was dumb enuff to have that size check mailed.........they deserve some grief......

No way UPS is responsible for the amount of check. As others pointed out , the bank can just stop payment.

This whole thing reeks of snowflakes crying............again

Your never to old to learn something stupid

I don't know why any news agency would ever report on a story like this. It's not news, as Marcus99 said, it's a bank/customer issue.

Fake news. The anointed ones with the perfect smiles and hair-dos must have something to talk about so they have time on-air.

It fills in the dead air time from all the real news, like news without their agenda, the MSM won't cover.
