Obama was the best gun salesman we had for a few years. Each time he would make an anti gun statement people went out and bought guns and ammo. Now that the 2nd amend group got in all the anti gun talk has subsided and sales appear to be declining..

Remington quality sounded like it has been hit or miss over the past few years as well. I did a lot of research on the 870s when I was shopping, but went pre owned since I knew it already worked without issue, although the $50 rebate cabelas had was very tempting. First additional purchases I made was for a non-mim extractor and heavy duty lift spring just for preventative maintenance.

I used to love Remington firearms. I have 14 rifles and shotguns made by Remington. The last Rem. rifle I bought was in 2012 for my son. A 3006 adl. Remingtons quality has been dropping even before 2012. All these gun manufacturers want to produce a cheaper product and sales begin to suffer. You can still find those bdl's and adl's out there, if you look hard enough. But there is a lot of junk too.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
