Where were you?

I'd gone over to the store earlier than usual that morning, I had ordering to do.
I had turned on the tv in my office just to have some background noise, opened up the wholesaler's catalogues, and was making pretty good headway when the voices on the tv started sounding like something was really wrong.

I was in Washington DC with my mom visiting an aunt and uncle. We were at the Pentagon the day before and were headed to Annapolis that day. I turned on the tv to check how the weather was going to be and they had just come on with coverage. Pretty scary being in the DC area and the drive home past the Somerset area, there were EMS vehicles all over the place. We had no idea about flight 93 until we got home.

Never forget!!!!

I was at my desk at work...heard some co-workers start to talk about it. Then I checked out the news online, crazy day. I still get chills thinking about the victims and the first responders who became victims that day.

As kudu said, never forget.

I was at home watching the news when it came on. I didn't know what was going on at first until I saw it a couple of times. I watched in horror as people were jumping out of windows. It makes me shudder just thinking about it.

At work buried in email and IM junk. Noticed that everyone else was glued to the TV in the bosses' office. Took a stroll in there to see what the hub-bub was and at first could not understand why everyone was watching what I thought was a movie. It was not.

Good night Chesty, wherever you are......
