Hurricane Irma

Looks like the projections say we are going to get hit hard by this one down here in NC....If it stays inland, it may travel up to PA...Hope everyone's sump pumps are working...Getting ready to head to the coast if needed late this week. Chainsaw fuel, water, bar oil...We will see what happens....

I'll keep you folks down there in my prayers. Lets hope it turns out to sea.

There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.

Not looking good for certain areas of the SE US coast. The islands are taking a beating in the Caribbean right now. 185+ mph sustained winds. I can't even imagine.

Suburban redneck.

Friend of mine was taking their whole family on a long ago planned vacation to St James next week, but that's changed, now they are thinking about someplace in Maine.

Good Luck to all you people down south. I am waiting to see where this thing ends up before I decide to pull the boats, not that there is anything you can fish for til mid Oct.

Just watched NBC10 weather at 5pm and they say will only get some rain out of Irma. I hope they are right.

For those of you in Irma's crosshairs, stay safe.

There is another one forming behind Irma..........calling it Jose

The good news about that one is that Trump won't allow Jose into the US..............

To all in the path of Irma, please stay safe and caution to the safe side. It's obviously a very dangerous storm !!

Your never to old to learn something stupid

Update at noon: 6abc weather said there is a high pressure system that will push Irma away from the coast.

Looks like you can leave the boat in the water, Birch.
