First egg

Hay's eagle laid the first egg today. http://www.pixcontroller.com/eagles/
These are tough birds. Like camping out without a tent.

Re: First egg

As I post the IR cam for the York nest, there is a rodent in the nest crawling around. Brave Lil Dude...or Dudette.

Anyway, no eggs yet, but both birds have been dropping leaves in the nest the last two or three days, so I am sure we will see nesting soon!

Re: First egg

York Mom Eagle just dropped an egg within the last hour. Last year was two, wonder if She has it in her this time?

Re: First egg

Just took a look on the IR cam, and timing is everything. She was up and repositioning, and I saw that Mommy York Eagle dropped a second egg today!
