The things that happen if a cow leaves the gate open can be an utter shame. On the UTTER hand, it is an honor to be the cow responsible for closing the gate; however, should that cow continually leave the gate open unfortunately they will become the laughing stock. Often a cow does not close the gate until it is pasture bedtime....Unrelated but just wondering, after a cow gives birth is their milk de-cafinated???? Just wondering.....We never had any cows only a steer, but he was famous, perhaps your have HERD of him...his name was Sir Loin....
