Sirius Radio

Who has Sirius in their vehicle and what do you pay for the service.
Ever since my free subscription ran out I have been renewing it for 6 month increments for 25.00 a time. After the first period they whacked my CC for 159.00 for the year. I called and they put it back to the 25.00 rate, you just need to contact them before it expires or they will automatically roll it over to the regular plan. I tried doing the lifetime plan for 499.00 but was told they no longer offer this.
Other people I know that have it all seem to pay different rates. The one guy said he keeps calling till he gets the price he likes.
Just wondering what anyone else is paying since mine is up for renewal in September.

My ability to remember lyrics from songs of the 60's far exceed my ability to remember why I walked into the kitchen

Re: Sirius Radio

I let it expire and wait till they send me the 20 for 5 or 25 for 6. I just renewed last week and was told that I had to do the auto renew or I could not get the deal. I set my phone, computer and marked on the calender 2 days before the expiration date. I like the service, but don't like it enough to spend 15 bucks a month.

Re: Sirius Radio

It's worth the price to hear the good country, pulled into a parking lot last evening snd the car next to me had Hank singing, just stood there for a short time and listened..

Re: Sirius Radio

Do not give them your CC Number for automatic renewal, they will charge you an outlandish price.
Let the current subscription expire and they will call with a much lower price.

Re: Sirius Radio

I was paying $14 a month, stopped it, and they keep sending me special offers. I think I was down to $15 for three or six month plan.

Re: Sirius Radio

I'm getting the messages now that it's about to expire on my new truck. I only listen to a few channels of it. Mostly the 70's, 80's and once in a while the 90's channel. I guess I also surf through the Canadian channels also.
I doubt I'll renew it. Always find enough to listen to on regular radio.

Re: Sirius Radio

I didn't renew when my six month freebie expired. I have an iPod with 1100 plus songs on it. I also have CD's. Everything I want to hear. The only thing I listen to on radio is sports talk and KYW news.

Itís funny until somebody gets hurt, then itís hilarious
