That's Enough For Today Honey

We'll try again tomorrow.....

Driving lesson ends with teen hitting building, 3 gas meters

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
POSTED: Monday, April 6, 2015, 6:04 AM
WOODBRIDGE, N.J. (AP) - New Jersey police say a teenager who had just received her learner's permit drove into an apartment building and struck three gas meters after hitting the accelerator instead of the brake.

The 16-year-old was getting a driver's lesson from her father Thursday night in Woodbridge when the crash occurred.

Authorities tell the Home News Tribune (http://mycj.co/1GSwXVc ) that she stepped on the wrong pedal and crashed into the wall of an apartment building.

She also hit three gas meters, causing natural gas leaks and leading to the evacuation of 12 apartments.

No one was injured. Residents are expected to be able to return home by late Friday.

She'll get better...

I did notice she failed to use her turn signal several times.

I'm so far behind I think I'm in first place.

Re: That's Enough For Today Honey

A few observations, if I may.....

1. She was darn near perfect on her U-Turns
2. She used her emergency flashers at the right time
3. Crossing the median barrier might have been a no-no
4.I don't blame her for being angry. I'd be angry too if the police kept ramming my car
5. Does this mean she won't be getting her drivers license?

Itís funny until somebody gets hurt, then itís hilarious
