They were in color? Black and white was all we had until the mid 70's. Never knew there was color tv in the early 60's

I remember on Sunday night Disney and Bonanza were in color. Watching the old shows on cable now that were in color in the early and mid 60's they looked as fake as a $4.00 dollar bill.
I think my Dad brought ours in 1965 and if I remember correctly more than half the shows on TV were still in black and white.

My ability to remember lyrics from songs of the 60's far exceed my ability to remember why I walked into the kitchen

That was great.The tootsie roll commercial with the owl is still aired from time to time.I still have my smash up derby set in the box at my dad,s house.
