One Tough Groundhog

Last Thursday on my way to work about 2:15 pm it was about 13 degrees and I saw a Groundhog out and about.
Whats up with that? Hungry? looking for a mate?

Why do you ask? Are you available?

Must have incorrectly set his alarm after telling us 6 more weeks.

I hope the SOB freezes!

Re: One Tough Groundhog

I read somewhere that the typical GH mating ritual consist of the males waking up in the dead of winter, invading the den of a female GH and mating with them. Did he have a bouquet of flowers or a Whitman's Sampler under his arm (paw - whatever)?

Good night Chesty, wherever you are......

Yep. Whistle pigs usually mate in February. I saw one hit on the road last week.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.
