I hate to ruin it for you guys from outside of the Philly area but it ain't a soft pretzel if it ain't a Philly soft pretzel. Freshly baked, right out of the oven, with mustard.

I hope this doesn't start the great pretzel debate of 2014.

Btw, my comments are based on over 50 years of soft pretzel eating experience and I consider myself an expert on the subject.

Re: Any Soft Pretzel eaters?

On the way home from work last night I stopped at Turkey Hill to get some I cream .When I was paying for the ice cream there was there was a display box at the counter with large individual wrapped large soft pretzels cover in salt. I bought a couple I think had Federal on the package, but instead of a milkshake I had soft pretzel and a beer, good stuff

I don't like mustard but I'll eat pretzels (soft or hard) dipped in it.

Uh Oh! Janie's got her gun!
