Smith and wesson 629 classic sight issue!

So after shooting my new 44 mag I was cleaning it all up.... Noticed the front sight was ready to fall out!!! I took it back to my local gun shop and he told me there is a spring that is supposed to be in the there and it must have never been installed or broke! Great... Still waiting for the spring to come in from Smith! I hope there is nothing I have to go through with sending it back! That would be a real bummer after only having 90 rounds through it Anyone out there have any constructive advise or knowledge about this issue ?

Experience the Xtreme!

Nah......Smith will ship you the spring and all will be good with the world. Well....maybe not all....but your gun will be.

S&W is usually very fast with customer service be it with parts or doing work on the gun. I had a cylinder go out of time on a revolver and it was back in my hands in less than one week from the day I sent it out.

Our forefathers didn't bury their guns. They buried those that tried to take them.
