Re: Pump Shotgun

atr,
I have an old 16 Gauge Winchester Model 12, choke opened to IC for Grouse hunting, a very light serous gun that puts the Grouse down very very well, the ladies especially like this pump gun because it is so light and works so smoothly.

Re: Pump Shotgun

Grew up with the 870 pumps, love them. 12 gauge all the way. I have been shooting with them so long, it's like second nature!

Re: Pump Shotgun

Don't own one, don't care for them. All my shotguns are SXS except my grandsons O/U.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Rem 870's and Mossy 500's for me. Both rugged and reliable.

Re: Pump Shotgun

My go to is my 870, 12 ga, but looking at getting a 20 ga.

I have Marlin mod 46 or 56, 20 ga, but i have yet to find someone who can fix the thing. I;ve been told its rare and hard to get parts.

I have my great grandfathers model 12. I still take it out for rabbits every now and then, but the long barrel and fill choke make a mess of rabbits at close range.

RIP Tuff 98-11, So many hunts, so many good times!
