SA xds 9mm-45 acp recall

If anyone has a xds. Go to Springfield armory website or call. Big recall. Gun has potential to go full auto when releasing the slide on a full mag. Check out full discussion at the xds forum. I'm waiting to send mine in until the rush is over. No time given on turn around.

RIP Tuff 98-11, So many hunts, so many good times!

Four to Six weeks, ugh. Not really thrilled about not having a CW to carry. Also not really thrilled about it going full auto. 44 is to big to carry concealed. So i guess i can go buy something else and then send in my xds.

Re: SA xds 9mm-45 acp recall

I have been carrying a S&W Shield with the intent to switch over to my xds 45 when I find a holster that I like. Have been looking at crossbreed. Anywho.... The Shield also has a recall on the drop safety but mine doesn't seem to be malfunctioning.
