choke ID?

I have a Charles Daly semi shotgun. The only choke that came with it has three hash marks on it. I think that means imp cyl. (CD chokes are the same as Rem chokes). Am I correct in my thinking?

I gotta go agitate the techies!

Re: choke ID?

gentleben,
These men have given you good advise on the usual markings, however talk to the choke manufacturer for exacting info, if you plan on using Rem chokes contact them about which chokes fit your CD correctly & what the idents mean for each choke. Also many of the foreign made screw in chokes have differing idents on them, remember there is no universal standard for choke ident, each manufacturer picks his own manufacturing idents for his companies chokes. Some do match some so not.
