New Shottie Day

I have been wanting a new shottie for while now, but couldnt decide what I wanted until I saw this Franchi 720 at Dicks. The wood on the gun made up my mind for me...

20 ga? My buddy has a Franchi in 20 ga. I love that shotgun.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Re: New Shottie Day

Yes it is a 20 ga. Hopefully I can get some time this weekend to shoot some clays with it.

Re: New Shottie Day

My buddy's is an AL 48. He took it shooting sporting clays this year and I think he managed to score a 7/50. The last 5 he hit was with my 20 ga Red Label. We traded off the last three stands. I managed a 14/15 with his AL. I wish I would have shot the whole course with it. They are a sweet shooting gun.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Re: New Shottie Day

The AL48 is a very nice semi auto, I have one in 28. I would like to add another AL48 but in 20 to my collection.

Re: New Shottie Day

How does that 720 compare to the 48 in weight?

How much did that rack you if you don't mind me asking.

The deer didn't disappear.... the 250,000 guys who used to walk around and make the deer move did.

Re: New Shottie Day

The 720 is about a half a pound heavier than the 48.
