belt for CC

Anyone have any belt recommendations for CC??? I typically carry a 4" 1911...

Had a nice belt made for it..leather outside of heavy plastic or something..nice and ridgid and sturdy....it just didn't last...

Need something better...and it gotta hold my weapon tight...I have some thinner leather belts that just don't cut the bill...

I wear a thick leather belt. Get them at an Amish tack shop. Boston leather also has some pretty good leather belts.

I carry a 4 inch 1911 also.

I use 5.11 Tactical Double Duty TDU Belt 1.75 inch. I carry a full size glock 17. This belt is nice as one side is black and that goes well with my work cloths. the belt is usally under 20.00 as well.

Re: belt for CC

Than guys!

Gen, my last belt was a 5.11....it is being held together by a few stitches right now lol...2 pieces of low quality leather with a plastic strip inside it...

Springfreak, I stumbled across the wilderness belts last night..I may try one! Typically I am a leather guy...but my waist fluctuates daily lol...making more sense to go with something like that!

Buckshot, I need to find an Amish tack shop...they make the best leather goods for great prices...can't tell you how many dog leads and collars I've tried to replace my Amish made ones..had a guy on another forum make me a couple and the leads wear way too thin...didn't take but a few nights for my pup to blow it in half...I was disappointed as I paid fairly well for them...his collar has held up though..

Carhart was probably still making their stuff in the USA in 1998. Is yours made here? Most all of their stuff now is imported. It`s disgusting.
