Re: S&W M&P40C

I have an M&P 40C, overall I like it & have no complaints. I typically carry it with the magazine that has the extra finger extension, I do not shoot it well with out it.
As for the comfort of carry, I use a Desantis pancake holster, I can wear it all day and forget it's even there.
Before I bought it I compared it to the shield, and you really didn't gain anything concealabillity with the shield wit the exception of it's a tiny bit slimmer.

In the reliability department - I haven't had a hiccup. It feeds Federal HST's like a dream and any other target ammo I feed it. Very well made, solid firearm that fits very well.

Re: S&W M&P40C

Thanks for the feed back I am pretty much set on a Smith M&P in 40 cal just debating on Compact or Full size.
There is an indoor rental range near me and I need to go shoot both for a fair evaluation soon! May have to settle for what ever arrives at LGS
Thanks again

Re: S&W M&P40C

I have an m&p 40 pro series.. and it is an awesome gun. 4.25" barrel and its a shooter. It really likes berry's 180gr but just recently started loading speer 180's and shoots them great too. You wont go wrong with an m&p

Re: S&W M&P40C

I have a M&P full size in .357 SIG. I then bought two drop in barrels for it (9MM and 40). Works great and I love it. Although I need to buy different magazine for the 9MM.
