Re: Berry Plated Pistol bullets?? any good ??

I've shot many, many Berry's plated bullets, as well as Rainier's plated bullets, in 9mm and 45 ACP. I thought they were quite good (and still do) and at the time were much cheaper than most of the big brand-named jacketed bullets. If you're looking for excellent jacketed bullets at a good price, check out Precision Delta. Alot of bullet suppliers are "out of stock" and "back-ordered" currently.

I have been shooting Berrys plated bullets for several years now , they shoot just as well as the big name jacketed bullets and the price is right , believe the last order of 500 was around $70.00 .

My GP100 will put 6, 148 gr. DEWC's touching at 30 yards. Much cheaper bullets for range use without leading issues. The last time I bought them, I think they were around $100 for 1,500 of them, but that was a while ago.

Would you use the same loading data as jacketed bullets, or would you use lower velocity loads like for lead bullets?

high lead or low jacketed...berrys site will tell you how fast you can push them.
