Remington 11-87 earnhardt editions.

My friend wants to sell a pair of 11-87's in the Earnhardt edition. He asked me to see if I can find out their values. I can find the blue book value on the 12ga but my book says they were made in 12ga only. He definitely has one in 12ga, but also one in 20ga. Anyone have any better books listing the value of the 20ga?

I gotta go agitate the techies!

In my 2013 Standard Catalog of Firearms it lists the 1187 Dale Earnhardt Tribute issue as a 12 gauge.(I know it really doesn't help with the 20,but It is a different copy than your blue book which I have also)It says NIB $725 Exc. 575 VG 425 Good 300 Fair 225

yeah, that's what my blue book says about the 12ga, but is says "12ga only" next to the description. I saw the 20ga in person so I know they exist. Strange that the books don't show it. I did find one on a gun sales site and the 20ga carries the same values you posted here for the 12ga. At least he has a starting point to market them now.

Re: Remington 11-87 earnhardt editions.

the one thing I've noticed about the blue book and the standard book of firearms is they tend to be in favor of the buyer(at least thats what the sellers tend to say LOL) I wouldn't be afraid of sticking another 100 on each one and seeing what happens. If you compare the prices in my two books with what you see on the major gun auctions sites it shocks me how far apart they are.
