S&W Model 19-4 6 Inch Barrel Holster

Guys I am looking for a nice side belt holster for this revolver that I just bought. Would like plain leather lined/un-lined and have a leather hammer strap with snap to hold her in place. What do you guys recommend? Oh and USA made as well. Thanks.

It depends on your intended use. Is this a concealment holster for carry all the time or just an all around field/hunting/occasional carry?

Non-Conceilment. Open carry feild/carry/hunting all purpose leather belt holster with the leather snap strap. Just for a regular belt as well, not cowboy belt.

Take a look at the Galco DAO. Galco makes a quality holster. The DAO is designed for field carry.

That DAO is wet molded leather so it iterally fits like a glove.

I'll second pappybear on this. For hunting and field carry, I have a Galco DAO for my two L frames that I've had converted Double Action Only with bobbed hammers. I just got the snap on the strap repositioned for the lack of hammer spur and it works fantastic in the field.

For regular S&W DA revolvers that still have the hammer spur, I also recomend the Bianchi Cyclone.

Both of these can be worn both strong side or cross draw. Cross draw works great while sitting in a tree stand or driving in your truck or 4-wheeler and if your hunting with your rifle, it places the gun on the other side of your normal strong side rifle carrying. That keeps the guns from banging into each other while walking.
