help with barrel choice

would u buy a barrel with the mount on the barrel or would you drill and tap the reviver for a remington 870 express

on the barrel. Not sure how thick the receiver is. Also holds zero when swapping between barrels.

Depends on your intended use.
If you tap the receiver your flexibility to use the shotgun for small game or duck hunting is somewhat restricted. A cantilever mount allows you to remove the scope by removing the barrel.
Personally, I have the receiver tapped on my Remington 870, but use it strictly for shooting rifled slugs.

I put a bsquare mount on my benelli nova and love it. Took five minutes to attach it to the ventilated rib. Midwayusa has them.
