Re: Hasting Slug barrel

each bbl shoot slugs lil different. Go get few boxes and head to range. But my money would bet the Lightfields,Federal Fusin would be good place to start.

Re: Hasting Slug barrel

Before Hastings was bought out, they advised not to shoot Remington Copper Solids that were made BEFORE a specific lot number, which occurred somewhere in 1999, I think. That means any new boxes of Rem Copper Solids would be ok.

The new company that owns Hastings now says not to shoot ANY Remington Copper Solids. That is a pity, as I use them in my barrel and get groups of <2" at 100 yards with it with 2 3/4" shells.
